| October 24, 1998... It was a gorgeous day! Not a hint of humidity - thank God! I got up early... So many things to be done... The cakes, the food, last minute cleaning, arranging the backyard, etc.,etc..
Thankfully, Mom was over early helping as well... It took nearly all day for Mom to transform the backyard... We had to lay down the aisle, set up the pillars and plants, it took forever! We finally got done around 3:00pm, but Mom still had to go all the way to her house in Coppell to get the flowers and get dressed!
We ended up starting the ceremony an hour late, but there was still enough light...Now I know why people have coordinators! I forgot so many little things (like asking someone to pass out the bubbles for after the ceremony!) but all in all it was a beautiful day, a moving ceremony and a lot of fun! |
